I know it sounds naff but it's true.

I know I stopped.
But I was close to not stopping.

We're not dwelling on what could have been.

I see what did happen and that was something amazing.

It's not easy for me to see the good.
I was part of something terrible when I was a pup
my pack were monsters, my father especially.
The things he did, I took me a long time before I could see any good out of his terrible deeds.
But now I can, because those things he did, they caused my escape.
They were the reason I ran away, and because of that Lylulf found me and brought me back here.
Now I thank my father for those things because I have a better life because of it.

There is always good, you just sometimes have to look really hard to find it.
Maybe the wolf that you killed, the one that I remind you of, maybe her death was the reason that you tried to stop and let me live.
*nuzzles*
Maybe her death will lead to the safty of others.

That wolf was my sister.
*lays down with head on paws*
I tried to stop before I killed her.
But I had to.

and I was responcible for my mother's death.
I know how hard it is, but we can't hold onto these things forever.
The world moves foward and we have to move with it.
